Our story
Founded in 2024 by illustrator Anto Fant and her husband, Mateo Barrios, Pufli is the result of Anto’s highly rewarding experience working with self-publishing and first-time authors around the world.
With Mateo’s support, they are on a mission to become the illustration partner of choice for children’s book authors looking for quality and guidence.
Anto has been working as a freelance children's book illustrator for over 10 years, developing her unique signature style. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an Argentine university. As our Creative Director, she manages our creative process, quality standards and artists.
They are also huge fans of Disney World!
Mateo is a business lawyer since 2018 in Córdoba, Argentina, with vast experience working as a Project Manager for Fortune 500 clients. As our Agency Director, he manages partnerships, daily operations, and agency communications.

Long-story short, they are our favorite people. What started as freelance illustration work back in 2013, slowly turned into many rewarding long-term relationships.
We want to prove that if you wish to make a quality picture book, you don't need to be an expert, nor have a huge budget. You are already capable, and with a bit of guidance, you will bring your story to life.
